Competition Period

The Competition commences at 12 am (AEST) on 15 June 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm (AEST) on 3 October 2026.

Eligible Entrants

Entry is only open to residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older.

Participating Venue

Participating Suntory Time venues in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland as advertised.

Eligible Products

Entrants are to purchase one eligible (1) Suntory Time beverage from the Suntory Time Menu at Participating Venues as advertised.

Entry Mechanic

To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must, during the Competition Period, attend a Participating Venue and purchase any one (1) Eligible Products from the Suntory Time Menu at the Participating Venue while Eligible Products are available for sale in that Participating Venue, scan the QR code available at the baack of the Suntory Time Menu to be directed to the Competition microsite, fully and correctly complete the entry form in the manner require on the microsite and answer in full the following questions that will be prompted for answer in the microsite:

  • What Suntory Time venue are you in?
  • What drink are you having?
  • Upload a photo of your Suntory Time drink (Eligible Product)
  • And answer in twenty-five words or less to the promotional question: "In 25 words or less, tell us the one thing you'd do, see or taste in Japan that you'll look forward to the most."
  • Successfully submit this information to the Promoter via the microsite.

Entrant warrants that photo is their own work; they own rights to submit it; photo does not infringe third-party rights.

Entry Limit

One (1) eligible beverage purchase per person per day.

Judging

All eligible entries received by the Promoter during the Competition Period will be judged by a panel of appropriately qualified judges on 6 October 2026 at 12 pm (AEDT) at the Promoter's premises to determine three (3) winners in the Competition. All eligible entries will be judged on a basis of originality and creative merit. Chance plays no part in determination of winners.

Prize(s)

The three (3) entries judged to be the best in the Judging from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period will each win one (1) Travel Package for two (2) people valued at AUD $17,000 (including GST) each.

The Travel Package is provided and managed by Mavel Group and includes a travel management fee of AUD $2,500 payable to Mavel Group, with the balance of up to AUD $14,500 applied towards the eligible Travel Package components outlined below.

The Travel Package is subject to the prevailing terms and conditions of use, including availability, booking conditions and any stated expiry dates. The Travel Package is not redeemable for cash, transferable or exchangeable. AUD $17,000 Travel Package includes:

  • Return economy airfares for two (2) people from the closest Australian state capital city to Tokyo, Japan;
  • Return airport transfers from Tokyo Airport to accommodation for two (2) people;
  • Five (5) nights’ accommodation in a minimum four (4) star hotel in Tokyo, Japan (twin/double share);
  • One (1) three-star Michelin omakase experience with House of Suntory cocktail pairings for two (2) people (Drinks component valued at AU$160 for two people); and
  • One (1) five (5) course dining experience at Suntory Lounge Eagle, including a 120-minute House of Suntory drinks package for two (2) people. (food and beverage package valued at AU$300 for two people)
  • One (1) premium traditional Japanese tea ceremony experience for two (2) people;
  • One (1) head spa experience for two (2) people;
  • One (1) exclusive House of Suntory merchandise pack, including two (2) branded item
  • One (1) House of Suntory product pack up to the value of AUD $500
  • Comprehensive travel insurance for two (2) people, subject to no pre-existing medical conditions and travellers being under 59 years of age; and
  • Full-service prize management by Mavel, including securing liability/publicity release paperwork, handling all bookings, managing itineraries, and providing 24-hour support for the winners during their trip.

T&Cs for the Travel Package:

  1. Entry is only open to residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older OR 20 years or older.
  2. The winner must select a guest with a minimum age of 18 years or older.
  3. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the winner notification and confirm that they meet the entry criteria outlined in these terms and conditions within one (1) month of the judging date.
  4. If a winner does not claim the prize within one month, the Promoter reserves the right to judge additional reserve entries and award the prize to the next best valid entry.
  5. Once the prize has been claimed, the winner and guest/s will be required to complete a further prize booking form including liability and publicity waiver within (1) one month of the date that they successfully claimed the prize and were verified as the valid winner.
  6. The winner must finalise the prize booking within two (2) months of successfully claiming the prize and being verified as a valid winner, and the travel must be booked at least sixty (60) days prior to the intended travel departure date. All travel must be completed within twelve (12) months of the competition
  7. Prize is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations.
  8. Availability cannot be guaranteed during Christmas, School Holiday and special event periods.
  9. The legal drinking age in Japan is 20 years old. Individuals aged 18 years and over but under 20 years of age may participate in and redeem the major prize, however they will not be permitted to consume alcohol or participate in any alcohol-related prize inclusions.
  10. Certain prize inclusions may take place at venues that impose their own age restrictions, including restrictions on entry for persons under 20 years of age. Where the winner and/or their companion is unable to participate in an alcohol-related inclusion or any other prize inclusion due to applicable age restrictions, the affected inclusion will be substituted with an alternative non-alcoholic inclusion, Suntory products (where legally permissible), as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
  11. In the event the Winner and/or their travel companion are under 20 years of age, they may still redeem the one (1) three-star Michelin omakase experience included in the travel package; however, the experience will exclude the cocktail pairings for two (2) people. The alcohol-related component will be substituted with an alternative non-alcoholic inclusion, Suntory products where legally permissible, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
  12. In the event the Winner and/or their travel companion are under 20 years of age, they must forgo the one (1) five (5) course dining experience at Suntory Lounge Eagle, including a 120-minute House of Suntory drinks package for two (2) people. This dining experience (including the drinks package) will be substituted with an alternative non-alcoholic inclusion, Suntory products where legally permissible, as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
  13. The Winner and their travel companion(s) must meet all travel requirements and conditions of entry for all third-party suppliers (i.e Hotels, Airlines, Restaurants, Events, Activity suppliers etc).
  14. All passengers must travel together on the same flights and stay at the same property.
  15. No compensation or alternative travel plans will be arranged should the Prize winner and/ or their guest miss their outbound or return flights or fail to meet any check in requirements for any reason. These costs will be the responsibility and expense of the winner and travel partner.
  16. A credit card imprint may be required from the winner at check-in to the hotel for all incidental charges.
  17. The winner and their guest(s) acknowledge that the legal drinking age in Japan is 20 years of age or older.
  18. Once booking is confirmed no changes are allowed, unless otherwise authorised by the Promoter in its absolute discretion and if permitted will incur a fee of $165 AUD per person (including GST) plus supplier charges which is payable by the winner
  19. Travel suppliers/airlines to be chosen at the discretion of Mavel Group (the Prizing Agency).
  20. Travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
  21. Should the Winner wish to extend their trip, permission must be sought from the Promoter who will decide in its absolute discretion. In the event the Promoter agrees for the Winner to extend, all additional expenses to extend will be at the Winner’s own expense, including any additional cost to extend their travel insurance policy by additional days, to ensure continuity of cover for the full duration of the trip.
  22. Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory and included in the prize subject to all travellers having no pre-existing medical conditions and being under 59 years of age.
  23. In the event that an element of the prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the winner forfeits the specified element, and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the prize.
  24. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the prize winner and their companion including but not limited to all meals, spending money, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, room service, telephone calls and all other ancillary costs.
  25. The winner and guest/s agree that they will not sell or otherwise provide any story, photographs or other content relating to their participation in this Competition to any media or other organisation, apart from the Promoter or Mavel Group.
  26. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  27. The Promoter encourages consumers to enjoy responsibly. Legal aged consumers are advised to consider the safe drinking levels recommended in the National Health & Medical Research Council Australian Alcohol Guidelines that are available at www.nhmrc.gov.au. Entry and continued participation in this promotion is subject to the licensee’s liquor serving policy.

Experiences:

  • Michelin-starred restaurants: Michelin-star ratings are subject to change and are based on the restaurant’s published Michelin Guide status at the time of booking. Where a restaurant’s Michelin rating changes, or where a nominated venue is unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative premium dining experience of equal value.
  • Dietary requirements: Dietary requirements, allergies and accessibility needs must be advised in advance at the time of booking. Requests will be passed on to the relevant suppliers; however, they cannot be guaranteed. Omakase and chef-led menus may have limited flexibility, and menu adjustments remain subject to venue discretion.
  • Head spa conditions: The head spa experience is a relaxation and wellness treatment only and does not include diagnosis, treatment or management of any scalp, hair or medical conditions. Guests must advise the supplier of any relevant sensitivities, allergies, scalp concerns or medical considerations prior to the appointment. The supplier reserves the right to amend or refuse the treatment where it is deemed unsuitable for the guest.
Total Maximum Prize Value

Total maximum value of all Prize(s) awarded in the Competition is AUD $51,000.

Data & Privacy Policy

By entering this Competition, entrants acknowledge that the Promoter and/or its agencies may collect, use, store and process their personal information for the purpose of administering the Competition, verifying eligibility, judging entries, contacting entrants in relation to their entry, awarding prizes and otherwise conducting the Competition.

The Promoter will retain personal information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including administering the Competition, contacting entrants, verifying eligibility, judging entries, awarding prizes and satisfying any legal, accounting, reporting or regulatory requirements. When personal information is no longer required for these purposes, it will be securely deleted or anonymised, unless otherwise required or permitted by law.

Entrants may be given the option to opt in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter. Opting in to receive marketing communications is not a condition of entry. If an entrant does not opt in, their personal information will not be used for marketing communications and will only be used for the purpose of administering the Competition, unless otherwise required or permitted by law.

Personal information may be disclosed to Mavel Group, Liquid Ideas and other service providers solely for administration of the competition and prize fulfilment.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
  1. Information on how to enter and Prize(s) form part of the Schedule and these Conditions of Entry. These Conditions of Entry must be read in conjunction with the Schedule for the Competition. Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of the Schedule and these Conditions of Entry. Capitalised terms and expressions appearing in these Conditions of Entry are as defined in the Schedule or these Conditions of Entry. Unless the contrary intention appears, a reference to the singular includes the plural and vice versa.

    The Schedule will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency between the Schedule and these Conditions of Entry. If applicable, these Conditions of Entry apply to each Participating Venue except where context in these Conditions of Entry indicates otherwise.
  2. The Competition is open to Eligible Entrants. The directors, management and employees (and their Immediate Families) of the Promoter, its related entities, corporations or franchisees (if applicable), printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are directly associated with the conduct of this Competition are ineligible to enter the Competition.
  3. Eligible Entrants may enter the Competition during the Competition Period in accordance with the Entry Mechanic. Eligible Entrants must provide all information required to enter the Competition, which may include, but is not limited to, their full name, gender, date of birth, residential address, current and valid email address, contact telephone number and mobile telephone number and, if applicable, the date of purchase of the Eligible Product and the location of the Participating Venue where the Eligible Product purchase transaction was made.
  4. Eligible Entrants may enter up to the Entry Limit. All entries must independently comply with these Conditions of Entry. Entries must be original and copies or images of entries will not be accepted. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Contact details entered incorrectly by an Eligible Entrant will deem their entry invalid.
  5. Selection of Eligible Products is subject to availability at each Participating Venue and based on reasonably anticipated demand. Eligible Products may not be available for sale in all Participating Venues at all times during the Competition Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any Eligible Products being unavailable at a Participating Venue during the Competition Period.
  6. The decision by the Promoter to accept or reject an entry is in the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. Any entry that contains content that the Promoter, in its sole discretion, considers to be offensive, obscene, crude or inappropriate in any way or that the Promoter considers may infringe any intellectual property rights or other rights of any person, corporation or entity will not be accepted as an eligible entry into the Competition. This includes, but is not limited to, any entry which the Promoter considers to be disparaging to its or Suntory (if Suntory is not the Promoter) products and/or services or is otherwise not in keeping with the spirit of the Competition.
  7. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). The best entry or entries (as applicable) in the Judging will win the Prize(s). All Prize(s) are subject to the Prize supplier’s prevailing terms and conditions of use and these Conditions of Entry (including the Schedule). It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the winner (and their travel companion) may be required to sign legal release(s) (including Prize acceptance release(s)) in a form determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
  8. The winner(s) will be notified in writing within seven (7) days of the Judging. Eligible Entrants agree that the Promoter may, in the event they are a winner, publish their name and locality in any media. The Promoter will take all reasonable steps to notify winner(s). The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. The value of all Prize(s) is the Total Maximum Prize Value. The Prize(s) are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash (unless otherwise indicated). The Prize(s) must be taken as offered and cannot be varied or redeemed in conjunction with any other offer. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from Prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in Prize value. All Prize values are the recommended retail price including GST.
  10. Redemption of the Prize(s) is subject to availability and may be dependent on travel class availability, specific room category availability and travel ‘blackout’ periods applying (including Christmas, school holidays, public holidays and special event periods).
  11. All components of a Prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. Prize is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations. The winner(s) and their companion(s) (if any) must travel together and depart from and return to the same departure point. The winner(s) and their companion(s) (if any) may not accrue frequent flyer points. No extension or variation of the travel and/or accommodation date(s) nominated by the Promoter permitted, unless otherwise stated in these Conditions of Entry (including the Schedule) or allowed by the Promoter in writing in its sole discretion, in which event any extension or variation of the travel and/or accommodation date(s) nominated by the Promoter will be at the cost and responsibility of the winner(s) and their companion(s) (if any). The Prize(s) cannot be used in conjunction with travel discounts or special offers.
  12. Travel and accommodation are to be arranged by an agent nominated by the Promoter. Winner(s) may be required to present a credit card at any time including at time of accommodation check-in. If international travel is included in the Prize(s), it is the sole responsibility of the winner(s) to ensure their entry and the entry of their companion(s) (if any) into the Prize destination(s), at their own expense, including ensuring all necessary passports, visas, travel authorisations, medical advice and recommended vaccinations and immunisations have been obtained prior to travel and, if required, on or by a date nominated by the Promoter. Failure to do so may result in the Prize(s) being forfeited. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety of any Prize destination(s) and it is the responsibility of the winner(s) and their companion(s) (if any) to check the travel advice issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at www.smartraveller.gov.au for Australian residents and assess the safety of the Prize destination(s) prior to travel.
  13. Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory and included in the prize subject to all travellers having no pre-existing medical conditions and being under 59 years of age. Should the Winner wish to extend their trip, permission must be sought from the Promoter who will decide in its absolute discretion. In the event the Promoter agrees for the Winner to extend, all additional expenses to extend will be at the Winner’s own expense, including any additional cost to extend their travel insurance policy by additional days, to ensure continuity of cover for the full duration of the trip.
  14. Eligible Entrants can only enter in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Eligible Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the Eligible Entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim a Prize, and any information submitted by the Eligible Entrant in entering the Competition, before issuing a Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of any and all entries and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant for: (a) tampering with the entry process; (b) submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry; or (c) engaging in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. A Prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter or its agents require in their absolute discretion.
  15. If the Competition is not capable of running as planned and/or a Prize (or element of a Prize) becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition and/or if necessary to provide comparable prize(s) (or prize element) of equal or greater value to the original Prize(s).
  16. The Promoter, Suntory and its associated agencies and companies exclude all liability (including negligence) except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (including any applicable Consumer Guarantee under the Consumer Laws), for any direct or indirect injury, loss and/or damage arising in any way out of the Competition. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) technical malfunctions, delays or failures, including those resulting from accessing any materials related to this Competition and any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this Competition as a result of any technical malfunctions, delays or failures; (ii) theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) lost or damaged entries, Prize claims or Prize(s); and/or (iv) acceptance and/or use of any Prize. Applicable manufacturers and/or distributors should be contacted in regard to all Prize warranty claims (where applicable).
  17. As a condition of entering the Competition, an Eligible Entrant consents to, in the event they are a winner, the Promoter using the Eligible Entrant’s entry, name, locality, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing the Competition (including any outcome), and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. The Eligible Entrant agrees that, in the event they are a winner, they will participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Competition as requested by the Promoter and its agents.
  18. As a condition of participating in a Prize, a winner must procure that the winner's companion(s) (if applicable) also consents to the Promoter using their name, locality, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in the manner set out in this condition and agrees to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the Competition as requested by the Promoter and its agents and sign any additional documents reasonably required by the Promoter and its agents to give effect to this condition.
  19. An entry and any copyright subsisting in an entry irrevocably becomes, at time of entry, the property of the Promoter.
  20. The Promoter may collect Personal Information about Eligible Entrants to include them in the Competition, award Prize(s) (where appropriate) and use the information to assist in improving its goods and services. If the Personal Information requested is not provided, Eligible Entrants cannot participate in the Competition and are deemed ineligible. If the Promoter collects an Eligible Entrant’s Personal Information, the Promoter may provide to the Eligible Entrant, at time of entry into the Competition or within a reasonable time thereafter, a collection statement that details the Personal Information being collected, the purpose of its collection, where the Personal Information will be stored and how it will be shared with third parties. The collection statement will comply with the Promoter’s disclosure obligations under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
  21. Eligible Entrants can gain access to, update or correct any of their Personal Information held by the Promoter by contacting the Promoter’s Privacy Officer at the premises of the Promoter. All Personal Information will be treated and stored by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy may be obtained by contacting the Promoter. These Conditions of Entry will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency between these Conditions of Entry and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
  22. In these Conditions of Entry: “Consumer Laws” means Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) in Australia. “Immediate Families” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or cousin. “Personal Information” means in Australia, for the purpose of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
